Owner-to-owner things I've learned about dogs and dog health issues. In loving memory of the most special Rottweiler girl ever, Jasmine. I love you forever, baby.
Hi Y'all!Fantastic pictures! Didn't know that Rottweilers were such good water retrievers. Persistent fellow!Y'all come by now,Hawk aka BrownDog
Jasmine surely wasn't afraid of water. And she loved water retrieving. We always said she was a Rottreiver (though she was purebred). What surprised me was her willingness to stick her head under water for that boot :-)
That was great!! I was wondering if she was ever going to come up out of the water!!
It looked so funny ... just the ears floating on the surface :-) Jasmine certainly did love water; when there was some near, there was no stopping her.She would always stick to her people ... unless ...Once hubby was at some guy's farm, buying some parts and he let Jasmine out to stretch. As they're talking, the guys asks: "Did you just lose your dog?" They look, she wasn't anywhere in sight. Hubby asks, "Do you have any pond or lake near here?" Surely enough, behind the house there is a pond and there is a Jasmine. "I knew where you were the whole time, daddy."
Too funny. What a find! She was determined!
Determined was one of her middle names :-)
I love a dog that's willing to put his/her head under water for a toy!
It was better than a toy, it was a treasure she discovered all on her own. I wonder if a shoe can be stinky under water too? :-)
